Beef Empanadas
Ingredients
1/2 lb Ground beef

2 Golden raisins

1/2 cup Corn, thawed

1/8 cup Tomato paste

2 Green salsa

1/2 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

1 Dried basil

1 Pillsbury Grands Refrigerator, biscuits

1 Egg, beaten

Preparation
In large skillet brown ground beef. Stir in raisins, corn, tomato paste and salsa, heat throughly. Remove from heat stir in cheese and basil. Set aside.



Preheat oven to 375F. Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Roll orpress each to a 5 inch circle. Place about 1/4 cup meat mixture in center of biscuit. Fold in half; seal edges and prick with fork. Brush with egg.



Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
