1 Whole Chicken, cut in serving-pcs.
1/3 cup Oil
1/3 cup Onion, chopped
1/2 cup Celery, chopped
1/2 cup Green Pepper, chopped
1/2 cup Catsup
2 tbsp Vinegar
1/2 cup Water
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Prepared Mustard
1 tbsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
4 medium Potatoes, sliced thickly

To make sauce, heat oil in fry pan, add onion, celery and green pepper and cook about 10 minutes. Add catsup, water, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt and pepper, and simmer at low heat for approximately 15 minutes. Place chicken in bottom of baking dish and tuck potatoes around chicken pieces. Pour sauce over all.
Bake, covered, at 375 F for approximately 50 minutes.
