Mix all ingredients, except spare ribs, together to make marinade.
Soak ribs in the marinade overnight. Remove ribs from marinade and place them in a shallow pan.
Place ribs in a preheated 425 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until brown. Pour off grease. Lower heat to 325 degrees.
Pour marinade over ribs and cook for about 1-1/2 hours or until tender. Baste with marinade every now and then.
