Creamed Chicken Over Beans
Ingredients
1/4 cup Butter or margarine

1/4 cup All-purpose flour

1/2 tsp Salt

1/8 tsp Pepper

1 1/2 cup Water

1/4 cup Milk

1 tsp Chicken bouillon granules

2 cup Cooked chicken, cubed

16 oz Pkg. frozen cut green beans, cooked/drained

Paprika, optional

Preparation
In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add water, milk and bouillon. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Add the chicken and heat through. Serve over beans. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. Yield: 4 servings. Recipe submitted by Louise Martin of Denver, PA, who say that this simple but tasty blend will surprise you.
