Green Chili Con Puerco; Macayo Mexican Restaurants
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb Boneless pork shoulder, diced

4 oz All purpose flour

16 oz Green chiles, chopped, 1-inch square

6 oz White onions, chopped, 1-inch square

14 oz Crushed tomatoes

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Garlic powder

8 oz Water

2 tbsp Lard

1/2 tsp Cumin

1 tsp Chile powder

1/2 tsp Ground oregano

Preparation
Brown meat with flour in a large skillet. Add all other ingredients and cook covered for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Optional ingredient: Add cooked pinto beans.
