Hot Puffs Filled With Butter
Ingredients
2 cup Sifted flour

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Melted butter

2 tsp Dry yeast

1 cup Warm milk

12 tbsp Unsalted butter

Preparation
Mix flour and salt in bowl. Stir in melted butter. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup milk and add flour to mixture. Add rest of milk and mix to form dough. Knead lightly on floured board until rounded and smooth. Roll out to 1/4" thick and cut with 3" biscuit cutter. Lay rounds on buttered foil, cover with a towel and let rise 30 minutes. Fry on lightly buttered griddle 3-4 minutes until bottoms are brown. Turn and brown other side. Split and fill with remaining butter.
