Hungarian Cabbage And Noodles
Ingredients
1 lb Shredded cabbage, (3 1/2c.)

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Shortening

1 small Onion, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 lb Noodles (wide), about 2 c.

Preparation
Mix cabbage with salt and allow to stand 1/2 hour. Squeeze dry. Heat shortening in skillet and saute cabbage onion, stirring occasionally until cabbage is lightly browned and tender.
