1 large Head Maui cabbage, chopped
2 Stalks celery, chopped
2 Carrots, grated
1 small Maui onion, chopped
1 small Green pepper, chopped (optional)
DRESSING
1 1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar, OR white vinegar
1 tbsp Salt

Mix all together and let stand for several hours, overnight is even better. After it has thoroughly marinated, you may freeze. It also keeps well for several days in the refrigerator; in fact it gets better and better as it marinates. Me ke aloha, Mary
