Min's Noodle Kugel
Ingredients
8 oz Wide noodles

4 oz Butter or margarine

6 Eggs

1 cup Sour cream

1 cup Cottage cheese

1/2 cup Sugar

1/2 cup Milk

1/2 cup Golden raisins

1/2 lb Dried apricots (chopped)



TOPPING



1 cup Corn flake crumbs

1 cup Brown sugar

1/4 cup Butter or margarine - melted

Date: Mon, 5 Aug 1996 10:01:36 +0000 Here's a couple of koogle recipes from California Kosher that sounded different and interesting.



Cook noodles until tender. Drain and add butter (or margarine) and set aside Beat together: eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar and milk. Add raisins and apricots. Add mixture to noodles. Pour into a greased 8 x 12 baking dish. Mix together topping ingredients. Sprinkle over kugel. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Makes 10-12 servings



**to reduce calories and cholesterol you can reduce margarine to 2 Tablespoons, use light sour cream and egg substitutes.
