No-Fat Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
3 1/4 cup Unsifted flour

2 1/4 cup Sugar

1 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup Cornstarch

1 tbsp Baking powder

1 tsp Baking soda

1 1/2 tsp Salt

Sift together all ingredients. Store in tightly covered

Container at room temperature. Stir before using. =>Chocolate Cookies

2 Egg whites, lightly beaten

1/4 cup Corn syrup

1 tbsp Water

1 tsp Vanilla

2 1/2 cup Basic Baking Mix (recipe above)

1/4 cup Sugar

~=>Basic Baking Mix Use this premeasured mix to prepare chocolate cookies, brownies or a cake. Makes 7 cups of mix.



Preheat oven to 350~. Coat cookie sheets with nonstick vegetable-oil cooking spray.



Stir together egg whites, corn syrup, water and vanilla in medium-sized bowl. Stir in baking mix until well blended. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Spread sugar on small flat plate. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Press balls flat with bottom of glass.



Bake in preheated 350~ oven for 6-8 minutes. Cool cookies on baking sheet on wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove cookies from sheet to rack to cool completely.



Per cookie: 61 calories, 1 g protein, .18 g fat, 14 g carbohydrate, 72 mg sodium, 0 mg cholesterol.



Exhanges: 1/2 starch/bread, 1/2 fruit.
