Red Beans And Rice #13
Ingredients
1 large Onion, chopped

2 can Black beans (I know it says "red" beans, but I prefer black; purists can substitute kidney beans)

2 Bay leafs

1/2 cup Chopped fresh parsley (do not use dried parsley!!!!)

Tabasco to taste (boy, does that leave an opportunity open!)

Preparation
Add enough water to make it just a little bit soupy. Simmer for one hour, stirring periodically. Serve over rice. The original recipe also calls for adding sausage, like a polska kilbasa, not breakfast sausage. I'm vegetarian, so I don't add it. Snyder_Curtis <CurtisS@MAIL024.USIRVINE.allergan.infonet.com>
