Swiss Steak With Vegetables
Ingredients
2 lb Round steak

Garlic salt

1/2 cup Flour

1 tsp Salt

1/2 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Paprika

1/8 tsp Nutmeg

1/2 cup Onion -- finely chopped

1 cup Mixed vegetables -- finely

Chopped

Carrots,celery,green pepper

Tomatoes

Salt and pepper

1 cup Beef broth

1/2 cup Tomato sauce

Preparation
Preheat to 300. Cut meat into 6 serving pieces, season with garlic salt, let set in. Mix flour and rest of seasonings. Heat some oil in large skillet. With edge of plate, pound as much flour into meat as possible, brown on both sides. When last batch is turned to 2nd side and onion and mixed veggies.Do not brown veggies. Add all to a 13x9 baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Pour broth and sauce atop. Cover and bake for 2-2 1/2 hours.
