Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Wrap each water chestnut in 1/2 strip of bacon. Secure each with a toothpick. Bake until the bacon is done (about 40 minutes). Remove to a chafing dish. Combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat. Pour over the chestnuts. Keep warm. Serve
